The House of Bernard Brémont is a family vineyard of 15 hectares, situated within the communes of Ambonnay (98%) and of Bouzy (2%), on the south-east of the Mountain of Rheims. Both Ambonnay and Bouzy are part of "crème de la crème" of the Champagne marque, of which only 17 out of more than 300 communes have been classified as 100% Grand Cru. The high quality soil planted maily with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes combined with the top expertise of Bernard Brémont himself undoubtedly results in the best of Champagnes.
As this is a small family Champagne House, the Champagnes, which are extremely popular, are not available in unlimited quantities , although we do have substantial stock to hand. Customers are advised not to delay in placing orders.
The quality of the Pierrel's Champagnes is the all important overrriding thread that runs through the entire range. A huge amount of the attention is paid to the quality of the Champagnes, and not just the presentation of the bottles. The House of Pierrel is supplied by a co-operative of vineyards which harnesses generations of experience, ability and ambition.
The Champagnes are all produced with the first grapes grown in Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards, coming mostly from the prestigious Côte des Blancs, famous for its Chardonnay. All of the Champagnes are aged many years in the cellars for more than the minimum allowed. The Brut "Les Traditions" Noirs & Blancs Champagne is cellar aged for three years when the minimum authorised is fifteen months!
